Marie Dunn of Moston wanted to improve security at home and decided to do it in style with Community Ironworks. Originally, her home had an open driveway where she parked her family's two cars but increased car crime in the area prompted her to take measures to secure them behind locked gates at night.
In consultation with Community Ironworks, a set of double driveway gates were designed and installed alongside bespoke iron railings set atop a newly built wall that separates her property from her neighbours. The hand crafted gates and railings are a beautiful design and are a true asset to the property.  Marie comments: "Besides looking really lovely, the gates and railings are extremely robust and will probably last a life time. I feel so much better knowing that our cars are safer and that no one can wander onto the property."
John Bradbury of Community Ironworks managed the project from the design (choosing to use classic and timeless decorative rosettes and scroll features) through to the manufacture by skilled welder fabricators and finally, the installation - all of which took just 2 weeks.
