Engineers
Job purpose: To install CCTV, access control and door entry electronic security systems.
Reports to: Engineering Manager.
Hours: 08.00 – 17.00 with half an hour for lunch. 42 hours per week. Overtime expected.
Key duties:• Install CCTV, access control, door entry and art’s security systems to specified standards.• Read job sheets, specification documents, site plans and attend project meetings (where relevant) and prepare all necessary equipment to complete jobs.• Perform routine maintenance services.• Liaise with customers to find out relevant information and keep them informed of job progress.• On job completion, test system and train customers on its functions, supplying a manual where possible.• Where required, solve practical problems and detect and repair system faults.• Adhere to all health and safety requirements.• Be part of a call out rota providing a 24 hour, 7 days a week engineering support service to specified sites.• Participate in meetings with external site teams and within own company environment.• Complete all paperwork (including time sheets and expenses) to specified standards and submit by stated deadlines.• Keep the office team updated of job progress and provide them with technical support when required.• Support colleagues through offering assistance and training when required.• Consistently update own technical knowledge.• Look after company vehicle according to specified standards.• Perform any other duties that may be assigned on an as needed basis.
Applicant requirements:Skills/abilities:• Be able to demonstrate a logical approach to resolving technical scenarios.• Use hand and electrical tools with competence.• Good interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers.
Knowledge: • Must have knowledge of many of the latest CCTV, Access Control or Door Entry systems.• Must understand the principles of electrics and basic electronic circuits.
Experience/qualifications:• At least 3 years working with either CCTV or Access Control systems.• Basic experience of computer networking.• Hold a valid driving licence.• Must pass a security vetting check.

Flexibility required: • Required to work some overtime.• May be required to stay overnight in hotel accommodation.• Be part of an ‘on call’ rota which may necessitate evening, weekend or bank holiday work.• Be prepared to work with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
Salary: £18 - £22 per annum.

CCTV /Concierge Operators
Operators required within our 24 hour control room based in Beswick. Day and night shifts and weekend work on rota basis.
1. (One position) This is a permanent position and is for a shift which is for 3 days on a  12 hour shift (total 36 hr shift) and then 4 days on a  12 hour shift (total 48 hr shift) which works on a rota basis of 4 days on, 4 days off, night and days. We offer a hourly rate of £6.42p.
2. (Two positions) We are looking to recruit for another new position based on the same shift basis of 4 days on, 4 days off, working a mid-shift, starting at either 10am or 12 noon until 10pm or 12 midnight. We offer a competitive hourly rate.
All candidates must have previous experience of working within the security industry, monitoring CCTV. We deal with local authority properties, as well as commercial premises, monitoring CCTV and intruder alarm systems. You must be alert and able to deal quickly with situations and react to the needs of the business.
A large part of the job will be dealing with local residents via the concierge system, giving access to the apartment blocks they live in, monitoring the car parks, lifts, stairwells and paying particular attention to the internal and external areas of the building.
You must be polite, have a good understanding of the English language, be clear precise and have a pleasant telephone  manner as there is a lot of customer care within this position.
